I have had the pleasure of working with Julia for more than 6 months. We initially approached her to help the Church with the accounts, as our treasurer was retiring. Julia presented a detailed business plan on how she proposed to move forward, with a cost breakdown, and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She quickly picked up the existing accounts and our cumbersome processes – and has overhauled our Chart of Accounts and bookkeeping practices to develop a clear and streamlined accounting system, that allows users to quickly understand their spend profiles, and allows the Trustees to clearly monitor expenditure vs income. She is extremely personable, and is well liked by all of the Church, and she engages key personnel with a very clear level of communication. She has delivered training to staff members on a streamlined expense system, which has been accepted fully and was immediately put into practice. We have much better financial controls in place now that Julia is working with us.
I cannot recommend her highly enough – she is both extremely likeable, diligent and extremely competent .
